Sanding machines are indispensable assistants in the processing of wooden materials. The abrasive disc of the woodworking machine performs the task of a cutting tool - it cuts very small pieces from the processed wooden board. Sanding wood, especially when done correctly, gives the material a unique look. It emphasizes the beautiful structure, tones and everything that makes wood so attractive.
The sanding process is designed to achieve high surface quality, desired shape and dimensions. Since dimensional accuracy is important, professional woodworking machines sand with a thickness of about 0.25 mm to 0.50 mm.
Sanding with electric sanders is usually used for large surfaces, large series and when we want to achieve high productivity. The tools are sold with coarse and fine sandpapers.

TYPES OF GRINDING MACHINES

We can choose between two main types of wood sanding machines - an orbital sander and a belt sander.
An orbital sander is an electric tool whose sanding plate vibrates at a certain frequency. The plate is shaped like a flat iron or a rectangle. The orbital sander has the disadvantage that with prolonged use, the sandpaper often becomes clogged and needs to be replaced. For this purpose, the sandpaper and the plate are perforated and with the help of a dust collection system - a vacuum cleaner, the shavings are removed from the work area. The dust collection system also reduces the dustiness of the room.
A type of orbital sander is the random orbital sander, in which the sanding plate, in addition to vibrating movements, also performs rotational movements.
A belt sander is a more productive machine, where the belt rotates around a drive and tensioning shaft. It is suitable for versatile processes and for all types of surface finishing. A belt sander creates a particularly good basis for subsequent manual sanding with fine sandpaper or machine sanding with an orbital sander. You should use it to make circular movements on the surface. If you hold it in one place with such a sander, it will create unsightly irregularities in the surface of the wood, which can be very difficult to remove later.
It is also not recommended to apply excessive pressure on the belt sander. At first glance, this tool takes very little material, but when you press down, it can go a few millimeters deeper in just a few seconds.

TO BE USEFUL TO YOU

Although the subsequent process after working with sanding machines is not of commercial interest to us, we will try to be as helpful as possible with advice on hand sanding. It is mandatory after you have previously sanded with a machine.
Here too, circular motions of the hand sander are used. We change the sandpaper from the coarsest to the finest. For the final sanding, you can also use sandpaper moistened with water. However, before doing so, be sure to check that the sandpaper does not stain when wet.
Unlike large areas, edges and edging are sanded in the direction of the wood grain. For edges, we can do the penultimate sanding crosswise, but the last final sanding must be completed in the direction of the grain.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

We offer all types of sanders: belt, vibratory, random orbital sander and multi-sander, which combines different functions. The power of the models is in a wide range. The lowest is 190W, and the highest - 1010W. The tools are of three classes: non-professional, semi-professional and professional.
In this category, we have also included electric planers, polishers, as well as a multi-function tool that comes complete with accessories.
An interesting offer is the high-speed sander, which comes complete with 50 accessories and allows for surface treatment even in hard-to-reach places. The wall and ceiling sander also stands out from the others.
To get a more detailed idea of the different devices, you can view the technical data sheets in their personal descriptions.
