In this product group we have included a diverse assortment of items not only for manual but also for laser measurement. We offer products of traditional and modern technologies, since measurement is of paramount importance for the implementation of construction and repair works.
And since the variety is great, we will focus on the most widely used products.

LEVELS, TYPES OF LEVELS, CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROFESSIONAL LEVEL

In the construction and renovation industry, it is almost impossible to achieve a flat surface with straight sides, angles, and level alignment without the help of a spirit level. This tool dates back a long way and has been refined over the years to make measurements even more precise and accurate.
Types of levels:
Today's levels can be conditionally divided into optical-mechanical, electronic (digital), laser and sensor-based.
The classic spirit level is the most common and affordable. It can be with one or several built-in spirit levels at different angles. Most spirit levels expand the possibilities for setting a certain slope of floor screeds or for determining the exact slope of sewer pipes, since the reading is carried out both horizontally and vertically. The body of the level is most often made of profiled aluminum, and the indicator windows are made of transparent and high-quality elastic plastic or acrylic glass, ensuring the strength of the product against damage from impact. As an additional extra in more expensive models, you can also find a spirit level with a special fluorescent coating under it, which makes it easier to read in low light conditions.
The different lengths of the levels are designed for convenience in performing various activities. The short ones can be used to install sockets, lighting fixtures and small elements. The medium ones can be used when gluing tiles, and the longer ones are used to check the flatness of the walls and their verticality.
We will also focus more selectively on laser levels, which are also actively present in our nomenclature. These levels are the most precise and technologically advanced at this time, and accordingly they are the most expensive. Their special optical system allows a beam to be projected at a distance of 50 m to 100 m. Linear laser beams can be two, three, or even ten in number. In this way, the surface is smoothly outlined as a grid, which could be a great help for the correct placement and arrangement of tiles, for the construction of partition walls, as well as for other more complex operations.
Laser levels - types:
The laser level is most convenient to use when marking planes. The right choice with a wide variety of types, models, functional differences and prices is not an easy task. To choose the tool that meets your needs, you need to be informed about its characteristics and operating parameters.
- Point level: an axis “drawer” — the simplest laser level for marking. It projects a laser beam and marks a point on the surface of the object. A point laser is best suited for home use when you need to precisely paste wallpaper, make shelves or hang pictures. With point levels, the beam does not scatter and the point is marked on more distant surfaces than a line.
- Linear level: a “line builder” — this is a more functional type that projects intersecting lines and additional points — the highest point, plumb line, lowest point, etc. With the help of this level, you can mark not only walls, but also the floor or ceiling. The lines are projected onto those surfaces of the object to which the device is pointed. For example, a wall and part of the ceiling of the room may fall into the laser level’s range of action.
Features of laser levels:
- Working range of measurements: for construction and renovation in the home, laser levels with a working range for designing lines up to 20 meters are quite sufficient. They are much cheaper than professional ones and consume battery power more economically.
Laser levels that will be used on large sites and outdoors should have a working measurement range of 50 meters or more.
- Number and direction of the beams: the number of beams and the ability to project lines on different planes is important when working on large objects, as well as if several people are involved in marking. The more directions the device can emit, the more work can be done simultaneously.
- Accuracy of measurement with a laser level: when choosing a laser level, you should consider how accurate the marking of surfaces is required. Each measuring instrument has a permissible measurement error. Its maximum value should be indicated in the technical specifications. The parameter is important for devices for professional construction, where the design must meet the requirements of the standards.

MECHANICAL ROLLER BLINDS, LASER ROLLER BLINDS, TYPES

The mechanical tape measure is one of the most common and necessary construction measuring tools. Mechanical tape measures have a self-winding mechanism that retracts the tape. However, for longer tape measures, the winding is done manually in order to avoid twisting and bending the tape.
Types of roller shutters according to the body:
- Pocket tape measures – small-format tape measures, the dimensions of which allow them to be carried in a trouser or jacket pocket.
- Casing tapes – long measuring tapes housed in a durable casing. Rewinding is done by manually turning the handle (crank) on the drum. These tapes are usually from 10 m to 30 m.
- Frame tape measures – this group includes tape measures with a large length from 20 m to 100 m. The wound tapes with the drum are not located in a housing, but in a frame (or even a fork) made of metal or plastic. They are suitable for geodetic, construction, land surveying and other works where measuring large lengths is required.
Types of roller blinds according to length:
- Short roller blinds - have a length of 2 m to 10 m and a tape width of 12 mm to 25 mm. They are equipped with a spring-loaded winding mechanism. Most models have a stop button that allows the tape to be fixed at a certain length.
- Long tape measures - have a length of 10 m to 100 m. They are equipped with a manual anti-twist mechanism and a plastic or metal tape with a ring (ring) at the end. Such measuring tapes are the body or frame tape measures. The measurement is made by stretching the tape.
Laser tapes:
Where the capabilities of a regular tape measure run out, a laser measuring tape comes to the rescue. With it, we can measure both short distances and lengths of up to 100 meters and more with relatively high speed. The accuracy of the measurement is also not to be ignored.
Modern laser tape measures are small in size and light in weight. They consist of a miniature laser device, a display, a computing processor and control buttons. Their housing is usually made of materials that protect the instrument from high temperatures, moisture and dust. The display has additional lighting, making it easier to work in low light.
Laser tape measures can measure distances from 20 cm to 200 m (for professional models). The measurement time lasts from 0.5 to 4 seconds. Its additional and useful functions include determining the perpendicular to a given surface, the area of a triangle along its three sides or by side and height. The tape measure can calculate the diagonal of a room, find the average values of several measurements, determine the shortest distance to a surface, calculate the area of a circle or walls, as well as the angle at which the ceiling is inclined.
The advantages of laser tape measures over standard ones are truly many, especially when it comes to measuring distances in hard-to-reach places and to distant objects, without a person even having to get close to them. The measurement begins immediately by pressing the button and pointing the laser beam at the object.
Important parameters when choosing a laser tape measure:
1. Measurement range
2. Measurement accuracy - Practically all types of tape measures are able to guarantee accuracy between ± 1.5 to ± 2 mm – this error refers to the maximum measurement range of the laser tape measure. Naturally, as the distance decreases, the error also decreases.
3. Additional functions of the laser tape measure - Basic models have several options for measuring distance.
Professional models have a number of useful additional functions such as: Area measurement; Volume measurement; Continuous measurement; Chain measurement of dimensions; Pythagorean theorem; Shortest distance measurement; Longest distance measurement; Timer; Distance breakdown and many, many others.
In this product group we have also included: multimeters; lines, angles and rulers; phase meters; calipers; detectors; hygrometers; digital and non-contact thermometers and many others.
