There is no other tool like the drill, which is narrowly specialized in drilling holes in various materials - wood, metal, stone, brick, concrete.
The drill is one of the most common and preferred assistants of the craftsman, whether professional or amateur, especially when undertaking interior renovations or furnishing.
The hand drill is powered by a 230 V mains voltage. For drilling hard materials, the tool must have an impact mode. Standard drills are not always suitable for drilling concrete or reinforced concrete. For this purpose, another type of drill is used – the so-called hammer drills, whose special design provides a powerful impact and have a special SDS grip.
If you don't choose the right drill model, working with it can become more difficult than it needs to be. That's why we'll help you make an informed choice.

WHAT SHOULD WE LOOK FOR WHEN CHOOSING A DRILL?

- Power:
It ranges from 400W to 1200W. To a large extent, the power determines the maximum diameter of the drill bit, respectively the hole drilled. For example: a drill with a power of 500W will handle a hole in concrete up to 13mm and up to twice as large a hole when drilling wood.
Weight is directly proportional to power. The more powerful the machine, the heavier it is. Therefore, it is not necessary to always “throw” the maximum power, but to choose according to what you need it for. It is extremely important in the work to choose the appropriate type of drill, designed specifically for the material you will drill. The choice of the drill is sometimes even more important than the choice of the machine.
- Cartridge:
There are two main types of chucks – with a classic drill key or with a hand-tightening. If you change tools frequently, it is a good idea to choose one with a hand-tightening.
- Functions:
We recommend a drill with variable speed (two speeds – fast and slow – are sufficient). The hammer drilling option is also important and allows us to drill hard materials (brick, stone and concrete).
Another advantage is the soft start function and smooth speed regulation. This extra feature provides you with greater accuracy when initially centering the drill, as drilling begins at a lower speed. The number of revolutions per minute depends on the force with which you press the start button. The slow start ensures that you will not deviate from the center of the hole you have marked and therefore will not accidentally scratch everything around.
Reversing the direction of rotation is also an important feature that you can use in combination with low speeds for screwing and unscrewing screws. Keep in mind that standard drills are not screwdrivers and cannot be set to a torque limit, which means there is a risk of over-tightening the screw and damaging the base material.

RECOMMENDED DRILL EQUIPMENT

- A rotating front handle is an advantage that both right-handed and left-handed users will appreciate. The handle gives you greater security when working and provides you with greater support in the event of an unwanted jamming of the working tool and the corresponding kickback.
- A light bulb or LED that illuminates the drilling site is very helpful.
- Adjustable depth stop – you pre-set the depth at which you will drill.
- A case in which you will always keep the machine safely stored. You can also put several drill bits and other accessories for the drill in it.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

And in this product group, we have trusted BOSCH above all, because you, the customers, trust this brand too. We have selected the impact drills of the German company so that they have different powers, so that you can choose exactly what you need. As we have already mentioned, power is directly proportional to weight, and in most cases - to price.
The wide range of power also applies to the models of many other brands that we have included in the list for sale. The lowest is 400W, and the highest – 1050W. In addition to BOSCH, drills are manufactured by SKIL, SPARKY, RAIDER, RTRMAX, MAKITA, BLACK & DECKER. You can get a full idea of the models from their personal technical descriptions. For example, we have RAIDER models from the RAIDER PRO series, which delights users with the ideal combination of high quality at a low price.
