- constant - when dangers are possible continuously;
- periodically - when hazards arise under certain types and conditions of work;
- emergency - in the event of accidents, disasters, catastrophes and other similar circumstances.
When choosing personal protective equipment, it is necessary to take into account the results of the risk assessment, as well as the recommendations made by the Occupational Health Service.
According to labor legislation, personal protective equipment is provided to employees on the day they start work.
