A properly selected mortar mixing machine is a necessary but not sufficient prerequisite for a good final result. To achieve this, something else is needed - the correct choice of the mixing tool - the agitator. This is the active part of the mixer, which does the "dirty work", coming into direct contact with the mixtures. Its choice should not be underestimated, as it can thwart your intentions for high-quality and timely completion of tasks.
An amateur approach is to divide mixers into two types - large and small. There is also a variety of them, and the type of mixer that will serve you best depends on the type of material. If you make an inaccurate selection, things simply won't work out. That's why it's very important to choose the right option.
CONSTRUCTION MIXTURE STIRRERS CAN WORK WITH BOTH THE MIXER AND THE DRILL
To prepare any solution from a ready-made dry mixture, a container (preferably made of elastic material) and water are needed, and the appropriate machine for this purpose is an electric mixer in combination with a stirrer. The use of the mixer is not only aimed at easing the work, but above all at achieving the optimal operating parameters for the given material, which is possible only with good mixing until the solution is completely homogeneous, and in some cases the requirement is added that no air bubbles are involved in it. This cannot be achieved by hand, without a machine. Masters have long been aware of the issue, but due to the lack of specialized machines on the market until recently, and probably also due to the poorly understood economy, they strive to use ordinary electric drills for this purpose. However, they are adapted for a different operating mode and other purposes, and therefore their use is possible only for mixing smaller quantities of solutions and especially for mixing paints.
In appearance, the body of the mixing machine resembles ordinary drills, but there are a number of significant differences. First of all, this is the additional handle, which allows the machine to be held comfortably and securely with two hands. This makes it easy to hold and counteract the rather large torque that occurs due to the resistance of the stirred solution. In addition, together with the additional handle, there is a molded guard made of a sturdy steel bar, which together protect the motor part from damage in the event of an impact due to dropping the machine.
The second very significant difference is in the gearbox. In the mixing machines, a three-stage reducer with a higher gear ratio is used, which is designed to withstand a greater and longer load. Last but not least, these machines are specially adapted and protected for operation in construction site conditions with an immediate danger of suction of abrasive dust and sand, drops of water, etc. For this purpose, the suction ventilation holes are located on the top cover of the machine.
In conclusion, the choice of machine depends on the type of solutions and the intensity of work. For homogenizing liquids (e.g. paints), pasty and generally low-viscosity materials, machines with a single-speed gearbox are perfectly suitable. When mixing solutions prepared from dry ingredients and with high viscosity, a machine with a two-speed gearbox is preferred. It has a wide range of applications because it is able to handle any materials.
The choice of a mixer is also determined by the type of materials to be worked with.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
With us you can find a variety of mixers. We offer mixers adapted to work with a variety of building mixtures. That is why the shape of their working spirals is different. For example, mixers for paints, adhesives, self-leveling screeds and other easily flowing and elastic materials have blades that, when rotating, scoop up the solution and push it down. We also have mixers with two blades, bent in the form of a double spiral, under the influence of which the mixture is pushed up. These are the most commonly used models, especially suitable for adhesives for floor and wall ceramic tiles, self-leveling floor screeds, all kinds of ready-made plasters, putty mixtures and others.
