Maintaining an optimal body temperature is vital for the human body. Overheating and frostbite are equally dangerous, but the latter may occur more often.
Throughout our historical evolution, humans have invented many ways to keep warm on cold days and nights. Thanks to the use of electricity, we can afford cleaner and more constant heating.

ECONOMIC HEATING

It is difficult to say whether heating with electricity, and specifically with panel convectors, is more economical than other types of heating. It all depends on what region of the country you live in and what kind of home you live in, how well insulated the walls, windows, ceilings, floors, etc. are.
To make it easier for you to choose an electric heating appliance, we will provide you with useful information.
How do we estimate how powerful an appliance we need to heat a given room?
In general, the power of the electric heating device is chosen as 1 kilowatt per 10 square meters with a ceiling height of 3 meters. That is, if you have a living room measuring 6 x 4 meters (24 sq m), the power of the device should be over 2 kW. Here again, the insulation of the room must be taken into account - if your windows have old frames or the walls are paneled, a more powerful device must be chosen to compensate for heat losses. Conversely, with good insulation, such strong heating will not be needed.
Electric heating devices differ depending on where they are placed. They can be placed on the floor, under the floor, mounted on the wall or on the ceiling. This is also a criterion when choosing a heating device - in some rooms, for example, placing heating with open radiators on the floor is not desirable - for example, where there is a fire hazard or there are small children.

ADVANTAGES OF UNDERFLOOR HEATING

Underfloor heating is one of the most economical ways to maintain an optimal temperature in rooms during cold days. It consists of a heating cable that is embedded in the floor and heats it, and the heated floor heats the air above it.
There are still no radiators that work cleanly, without collecting dust and without taking up any space in our homes. With underfloor heating, all those areas that are occupied by radiators can be used for other things or simply to make you feel more spacious. Underfloor heating is an extremely effective way to heat a room, office, even a bathroom and provides much more pleasant warmth than radiators, stoves or traditional solid fuel fireplaces, which always radiate heat from one place, where it is always warmer. With underfloor heating, you have heating over the entire area with a much more even temperature.
The main types of underfloor heating are electric and water. We will focus on the former, since a model of it is available with us. Electric underfloor heating usually consists of cable heaters or strips attached to woven mesh mats. The mats are spread on the floor, connected to each other and then to a thermostat and the mains power supply. Electric underfloor heating is cheaper to install and less tied to restructuring the floor and the home as a whole than water.
