Moisture is one of the main problems that disrupt the comfort of human existence. It lurks everywhere and appears without us provoking it, but simply when we do our daily activities - cooking, bathing, cleaning, washing. That's when a moisture absorber, also called a dehumidifier, comes to the rescue.

HOW TO DEAL WITH MOISTURE IN THE HOME AND THE FORMATION OF MOLD AND MOLD?

The problem with moisture from the above activities occurs mostly in "new construction" type buildings and may sound paradoxical, but the better the quality of the construction, the greater the problem. The reason for this is the good insulation of the buildings, in which, in order to reduce heat loss to a minimum, it is achieved in such a way that, in addition to retaining heat, the produced moisture is not allowed to evaporate from the premises. When it cannot be removed, the uninvited guest begins to accumulate and when its concentration becomes high enough, it can begin to condense on colder surfaces. An example that everyone has encountered is fogged windows in winter. If it stays on a given surface for long enough, we already have the prerequisites for the moisture to degenerate into mold, mildew, etc. Since the produced moisture dissolves in the air, the solutions to the problem are related to the treatment of this highly humidified air and are generally of two types:
1. Ventilation: it can be either specially constructed by removing stagnant air from the premises and bringing in fresh outside air, or by ventilating by opening doors and windows. In this way, the humidified air goes outside, and in its place comes another one, which usually has a lower humidity. The main advantage of this method is that through it we practically do not just dehumidify, but also refresh the air in the room at the same time. Its disadvantage is that in adverse climatic conditions - colder or hotter weather, we spoil the temperature balance of the room.
2. Dehumidification with a moisture absorber: this usually only processes the indoor air and does not have the effect of refreshing it. The highly humidified air enters the moisture absorber, which removes the moisture from it and collects it in a special tank, after which the dried air is returned back to the room. The main disadvantage of this method is that these devices consume some amount of electricity.

CHOOSING A MOISTURE ABSORBER OR DEHUMIDIFIER TO DEAL WITH MOISTURE AT HOME

While there is a lot of information about choosing heating equipment and air conditioners, there is still not enough about dehumidifiers. Simply because these devices have not entered the mainstream among consumers. But they are gradually entering and will enter more and more, since the problem of moisture is not isolated, especially in new construction. Therefore, we think that we can be useful to you with some explanations about dehumidifiers, if you have decided to get one.
When the source of moisture is the daily processes in a household, and there are no external humidification processes such as leaks from walls, ceilings, windows or plumbing, for example, then a moisture absorber provides a solution to deal with the problem. The main task is for the device to provide sufficient air circulation in the room in order to be able to process enough humid air, or in other words, for the fan, with which every dehumidifier is invariably equipped, to have sufficient flow rate in order to be able to suck in and process all the air in the room. Usually, sufficient flow rate is considered if the device can process all the air in the room about three times per hour. That is, if we have a room of 20 sq.m. with a height of 2.50 m, we will need a device that can process at least 150 cubic meters per hour.
The most important parameter when choosing a dehumidifier should be its capacity and whether it will be sufficient to remove all the moisture in the room.
We offer dehumidifiers with different powers and performance. Despite being powerful, the devices are light and easy to move from one room to another. They are equipped with water tanks of different capacities (depending on the model) and different capacities.
Our range also includes aerodynamic devices that incorporate a new moisture absorption system, as well as consumables for moisture absorbers in the form of tablets with a variety of flavors.
