Bitumen insulation tape, width 5cm

Gray bitumen tape, designed for sealing and insulation. Its main advantages and qualities are:

The tape is available in two main colors. The upper part of one type is colored in gray aluminum foil, and the other is in tile red. In both varieties of the tape, the lower part is a black self-adhesive bitumen tape, which is protected by a release film. The density is within 1.2-1.5 g/cubic cm, which occurs at an air temperature of +20°C. The bitumen tape elongates at break, reaching 25-50%. Installation depends largely on the condition of the treated surfaces. They must be thoroughly cleaned, dust-free, degreased, sound, homogeneous and dry. It is desirable that the temperature of the bases and the environment be in the range from +5°C to +40°C. It is not suitable for laying on ceilings with a high temperature exceeding +25°C. The presence of bitumen in the tape can lead to discoloration of coatings, plastics and natural stones.

The gray bitumen tape is 5 cm wide and 20 m long.
