Every household has a place for a refrigerator. Undoubtedly the most practical for home use are refrigerators with two compartments - a refrigerator and a freezer. The freezer compartment can be at the top or at the bottom. These two types are divided into a refrigerator with an upper chamber and a refrigerator with a freezer. Depending on the needs of each household, a choice can be easily made which of the two options would be more relevant. To make your choice of refrigerator easier, we will allow ourselves to give you some guidelines.

HOW TO CHOOSE A REFRIGERATOR WITH FREEZER?

A starting factor for choosing a refrigerator model may be the requirement for the volume of the refrigerator and freezer compartments, which is most often in a ratio of 3:1. You should also pay attention to how many compressors you want the appliance to have. Dual-compressor ones have the advantage of separately turning the refrigerator and freezer on and off.
Most, but not all, modern single-compressor models have options for separate control, but not for separate switching on and off of the refrigerator and freezer sections. Switching off part of the refrigerator is advantageous if it is for more than a week or two, for a day or two it is not economically justified.
There are several basic functions and systems in a refrigerator that are important for your choice:
- Automatic defrost (this applies only to the refrigerator section): refrigerators with automatic defrost use the condensation principle. Most often, the cooling element is built into the back wall, so the water condenses there in the form of a thin layer of ice. After the cooling process stops, this ice melts and drains down the chute at the back of the refrigerator, the water collects in a tray above the compressor, and from there it evaporates into the surrounding air under the influence of the heat from the compressor.
- NO FROST system: the system translates to no frost - this is a refrigerator that does not need to be defrosted while operating normally. The system has an evaporator located outside the refrigeration volume of the appliance, with a fan taking care of the distribution of cold air.
- Zero Zone, also known as BIOFRESH: this is a zone designed to maintain a temperature as close to zero as possible, but never reaching it. This is a temperature at which the biological and chemical processes occurring in the products are slowed down, so that their freshness is preserved up to 3 times longer.
- The environmental factor can also influence your choice of refrigerator. Currently, almost all brands have stopped producing refrigerators using freon-type gases. Currently, gases of the type R134 a, R 134b, R407, R600, etc. are widely used, which are harmless to the environment and do not damage the ozone layer.
- Antibacterial coating: it is placed on the inside of refrigerators and prevents the formation of mold, while also protecting against the accumulation of odors.
- Easy change of door opening direction. This may not play a major role when choosing a refrigerator, but it is a kind of advantage over other models.
- The number of product storage compartments: modern refrigerators can be equipped with a freezer, mini bar, areas for fresh fruits and vegetables, etc. The total number can reach 5-6, but this is determined by the design of the refrigerator itself.
- Additional extras: water dispenser, ice maker, electronic control display. These extras significantly increase the price of the refrigerator, but for a significant number of people they are of fundamental importance.

REFRIGERATORS WITH FREEZERS, TOP-COMPARTMENT REFRIGERATORS AND LOWER-COMPARTMENT REFRIGERATORS

All refrigerators that you will find in the product group not only meet the highlighted advantages, but also belong to the highest energy efficiency classes A+ and A++. The appliances are compliant with the latest technologies in the industry and are equipped with all the extras.
The volume of the refrigerators in the product group varies up to over 300 liters. With us you can find three variants of the design solution: refrigerators with freezers; refrigerators with an inner chamber; refrigerators with an upper chamber.
Refrigerators with freezers are the most popular. In them, the freezer is located at the bottom of the refrigerator. They offer a larger group of functions compared to other types, which is why they are the most preferred.
Refrigerators with an internal chamber are usually low and narrow, with a small chamber located at the top. Their advantage is the lower price, which is due to the simplified design and functions. We also include the mini bars that are available with us.
In refrigerators with an upper chamber, access to it is done with a separate door. The chamber is used for storing products that do not require freezing. The temperature range is about 2 to 10 °C. They have a larger volume than refrigerators with an inner chamber.
Some of the offered models have features such as No Frost, Antibacterial protection, Odor Removal function, allow for changing the direction of door opening, Automatic Defrost function, Fresh Zone for storing always fresh products, etc.
With us you can find a wide variety of refrigerators from the brands ARIELLI, SAMSUNG, LG, WHIRLPOOL, ELEKTROLUX, MIDEA, INDESIT, BEKO, CROWN, GORENJE, LIEBHERR, etc.
