In this group, we have separated waterproofing products that differ in their characteristics from the others. We will focus in more detail on three of the waterproofing products that deserve personal attention due to their superior quality or specific area of application.
WEBER'S SUPERFLEX D2 IMPRESSES WITH SUPER QUALITY
The reactively bonding two-component waterproofing SUPERFLEX D2 from WEBER, which is available to order from us, impresses with its super quality. Its advantages are its quick bonding, frost and UV resistance, and water tightness even with pressurized water. It is used for waterproofing foundation walls and slabs; ceramic tiles; wet rooms, terraces and balconies; swimming pools; water tanks, etc.
WEBER SUPERFLEX D2 is a two-component, highly elastic, reactive-bonding waterproofing coating for waterproofing interior and exterior spaces. It is based on a new technology that allows bonding regardless of weather conditions.
- Purpose: for perfect waterproofing of internal and external spaces such as foundation walls and slabs, water tanks, etc. It is also suitable for waterproofing under tiles on walls and floors in wet rooms, terraces and balconies, as well as swimming pools. It can be used as a bonding layer on old polymers, modified bitumen coatings, as well as in new waterproofing works on foundation walls. It is characterized by extremely easy application due to the creamy consistency of the material. It hardens without residual stress and without cracks even in cases of wind and UV rays. Tiles can be glued to the finished waterproofing using the thin- and medium-layer method with elastic adhesives.

ARDEX S 1-K RELIABLY REFLECTS WATER
The one-component alternative waterproofing S 1-K from ARDEX also impresses with its high quality and reliability. It is a ready-to-use dispersion, without thinners, with special fillers and additives. ARDEX S 1-K is an easy-to-process, elastic paste-like mixture that does not splash or run when applied, and after drying creates a water-repellent, highly elastic layer. The product is perfect for use if cracks need to be covered.
ARDEX S 1-K meets the requirements of the instructions of the Professional Association of the German Tile Industry
Application area:
Moisture protection of floors and walls, forming corner joints (internal corners), covering pipe openings, bathtub and floor drain connections, leveling and filling in unevenness. Under tiles against loads such as those occurring in rooms with showers, bathrooms, shower areas over bathtubs and rooms with floor drains.
Preparation of the base:
The surface of the substrate must be dry, solid, load-bearing and free from separating substances. The substrate of gypsum and absorbent or sanded anhydride must be dry and must be primed with the bonding and priming dispersion ARDEX P 51, diluted with water in a ratio of 1:3. Gypsum plasters must be solid, dry, single-layered with a thickness of at least 10 mm, not flaked and smoothed. The penetration of moisture from the substrate, for example through an external wall, must be excluded. In this regard, the construction data must be checked before the sealing work.
How is ARDEX S 1-K waterproofing applied?
ARDEX S 1-K can be applied with a roller, brush or putty. First, the internal corners, joints and cracks are sealed. Existing floor drains and drainage channels are sealed with ARDEX - fiberglass tape. ARDEX S 1-K is applied generously to these areas and the sealing or fiberglass tape is laid in the still fresh solution. This is followed by the complete application of the alternative waterproofing on the walls and floor. The product must be applied with an even thickness. For very rough substrates, it is recommended to putty with a metal trowel. The hardening of ARDEX S 1-K depends on the thickness of the application, the porosity of the substrate and the conditions of the construction site. The second application can begin after 2 hours at the earliest. High temperature and low humidity reduce the drying time, while low temperatures and high humidity extend it. ARDEX S 1-K is always applied generously in two layers, so that at a consumption of about 1.1 kg/m2 a total thickness of the two dried layers of at least 0.5 mm is obtained. ARDEX S 1-K is processed at temperatures from + 5 to + 30°C.
Tiles and boards can be laid after 12 hours at the earliest.
Laying tiles on ARDEX S 1-K can begin after both layers have completely dried, at the earliest after 12 hours. All thin-bed mortars from the ARDEX product range are suitable for laying tiled floors. For substrates that are still shrinking or where movements are expected, both for building boards and for laying porcelain tiles, the use of elastic thin-bed mortars is recommended.
ARDEX S 1-K is not suitable for swimming pools.
ARDEX S 1-K is not suitable for use in rooms with high humidity. For example, in swimming pools, public bathrooms, public sanitary facilities and when applying a sealing layer in open areas, alternative waterproofing materials should be used.
ARDEX S 1-K is available in our store in packs of 4 and 20 kg.
ISOFLEX SAVES THE ROOF AND TERRACE FROM MOISTURE
Apartments on the top floors often have a problem with moisture due to the lack of roof waterproofing or the ineffectiveness of the existing one, caused by the wrong choice of materials, poor execution or lack of maintenance. Waterproofing of pitched roofs (without retaining water) must ensure absolute water tightness and reliable resistance to adverse atmospheric conditions for a long time. In addition, it must be sufficiently elastic and firmly attached to the base.
Using ISOFLEX elastic acrylic waterproofing is one of the reliable ways to solve the problem. This product is available on request.
ISOFLEX provides a solution even for difficult areas. The product is an elastomeric liquid membrane that is applied with a brush and meets all the requirements for high-quality waterproofing of roofs or other open areas such as terraces. It offers excellent adhesion to the substrate, sufficient elasticity and resistance to adverse weather conditions and UV radiation. It provides a simple, easy and efficient solution for difficult-to-waterproof areas (corners, edges, joints, railings, etc.). It forms a continuous, elastic membrane, without joints, and can be used both for waterproofing the entire roof and for local waterproofing of cracks. It is easy to apply and is ideal for waterproofing roofs, terraces, even when a lot of time has passed since their construction, as well as for repairing existing waterproofing. The material can be applied on standard terraces with concrete coverings.
In many cases, just local waterproofing of cracks, joints and joints is enough to solve the problem of a roof, and this can be the cheapest way to eliminate leaks and moisture.
Initially, existing cracks on concrete, mosaic or old waterproofing are fixed and cleaned very well from dust and other contaminants. Then the dry surface is primed along the length of the crack with a suitable primer with a width of about 12 cm. After the primer has dried, the elastic waterproofing ISOFLEX is locally applied with a brush. While the screed is still fresh, a reinforcing fiberglass or polyester tape is applied and after the first layer has dried, two consecutive layers of ISOFLEX are applied.
When treating the corners between the roof and the wall, proceed in the same way, as the base must be dry and free of grease and loose particles (dust, pebbles, gravel, etc.). The method of work also applies to waterproofing hard-to-reach places where there are metal structures /railings, pipes, etc./.
If deemed necessary, ISOFLEX can be diluted with water up to 5% to make it easier to apply. When the first layer has dried, another general application of ISOFLEX is carried out using the “cross-over method”.
The end result is a seamless, elastic, waterproofing membrane. The main advantage of ISOFLEX is its greater durability, which is due to its ingredients being a waterproofing material, not a paint.
WHAT ELSE DO WE OFFER?
In this product group, you can also find one-component waterproofing CERESIT CL 51, which is designed for flexible sealing under tiles indoors (home bathrooms, around bathtubs, shower cabins, toilets, kitchens). It is also suitable for use over underfloor heating.
And the elastic waterproofing GT11 of TERAZID can be used for all elements of the building, but is not recommended for flat roofs exposed to direct sunlight. This waterproofing is also available in different packages - from 5 and 25 kg.
The prices of the products in this group with us are in optimal proportion to the quality.
