Drainage membranes are applicable for protecting the insulation of basements and foundation walls, for dewatering basement walls in cases of groundwater or leaked water (for hydrostatic decompression), as well as for protecting roofs and the aquifer of green roofs. The products are placed as a sanitary layer under reinforced foundations instead of a bonding layer.
WHAT IS THE TERRA PLAST PLUS SYSTEM FOR?
The TERRA PLAST PLUS drainage and waterproofing protection system serves for vertical or horizontal drainage of surface rainwater or groundwater, complementing the insulation of the affected building structures, ensuring their mechanical, chemical and biological protection.
When installed horizontally under a base plate, drainage membranes provide protection from radon radiation coming from the soil and can serve as insulation from vapors and soil moisture. When installed near foundations or basement walls of old buildings with poor insulation and with appropriately located ventilation holes, they reduce the wetting of the walls and ensure their ventilation. For terraces, they can be used as a sliding-separating layer, and when used in layers on a roof terrace, they compensate for vapor pressure.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
The TERRA PLAST H8 LIGHT membrane from the ECODRAIN brand, which you can find with us, is made of extruded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and, thanks to its material, has high compression resistance and tensile strength. It is resistant to impact, biological materials and decay, and does not pollute groundwater. It is also resistant to chemical effects in the soil, i.e. fungi and bacteria. It increases safety and is a cheaper and faster solution than any other protective wall insulation, can be installed easily and quickly, and when used as a sanitary layer, there is no need to use bonding cement.
The TERRA PLAST H8 LIGHT drainage membrane is available in rolls with a length of 20m, a thickness of 8mm and two width sizes: 1m and 2m.
