Crystallizing waterproofing CR90 25 kg

Crystallizing waterproofing sludge, manufactured by CERESIT. It is resistant to positive and negative water pressure. The crystallizing sludge can self-repair, and its action is to fill cracks up to 0.4 mm.

It is vapor permeable, frost resistant and last but not least - economical. Its action is to insulate, using crystallization. Apply by smearing or plastering. It is especially effective when applied on non-deformable mineral bases, which do not contain salts. The CR90 waterproofing compound works in two main ways.

The first method involves the formation of a waterproof layer on the surface of the base. In the second way, the CR90 mixture forms crystals in the pores of the base itself when the respective structure is operated. The solution of the waterproofing sludge penetrates into the pores of the concrete. There, over time, crystals form in the event of contact with water. Gradually the capillaries of the concrete are filled and thus the transfer of moisture in both directions - outwards and inwards is stopped. Crystallization is a way to protect the concrete structure against the appearance of unwanted cracks in its structure. For the most part, they are the result of unwanted moisture. The CERESIT CR90 product can be used for efficient insulation of balconies, wet rooms, basement walls, septic tanks and more. It is widely used in the insulation of concrete structures, reinforced concrete, mineral plasters, masonry and more. Consumption of material is 8 liters of water per 25 kg. mixture, when applied with a brush and 6 liters of water per 25 kg. mixture, when applied with a trowel. The operating temperature, which is recommended for the installation of the waterproofing sludge, is from +5°С to +25°С.
