Your own garden or yard is the best possible place for relaxation, where you can combine the beauty and life-giving power of nature with the opportunity to immerse yourself in solitude, without being disturbed by unwanted presence. The mandatory way to eliminate this unwanted presence is to put up a fence. Everyone knows what people put in the phrase "destroyed yard", everyone would not want it to apply to theirs.
The garden is an inexhaustible arena that provides, and also requires, wide opportunities for creative expression and enjoyment of what has been done - be it construction, landscaping and gardening. It must have its own infrastructure with mandatory elements and possible additional extras. Undoubtedly, what is placed first as a mandatory element is the external fence, which should protect or at least limit unwanted presence. Everyone knows the wisdom, although it is not Bulgarian - "My home is my fortress". Although in this case we are talking about the yard, a fortress without a fence is like an ATM without money...

WHY IS MESH FENCE A PREFERRED CHOICE?

Fence nets are the most widespread choice for fencing various areas, lands, yard spaces, all types of buildings, etc. They have a very wide range of applications. It is important to note that a quality fence net can save us a lot of problems, and at a not particularly high price. It is no coincidence that fence nets are preferred for separating properties and plots in Bulgaria. Where the construction of another type of fence is pointless or too expensive, most people prefer to install a fence net, especially since this does not represent any serious difficulty and does not require special skills.
When choosing a mesh, first determine whether it will be exposed to weather conditions that predispose to corrosion for a long time. If this is the case, choose a fence mesh that is galvanized.

WHAT INFLUENCES THE PRICE OF THE NETWORK?

Galvanized wire of various thicknesses is most often used to make fence nets: from 1.8 mm to 3.0 mm or PVC coating with a thickness of 2.2 mm.
When looking for a fence net, it is important to consider not only the price, but also the parameters of the model. For example, if the height of the net is 1.50 m and the length is 25 m, and the individual cell is 6x6 cm, the price of the fence net will be the same, but if we change only the cell size to 5x5 cm, then there will be an immediate increase in price. From this we can conclude that it is important not only how high the net is or how long the top is, but also how tightly the net itself is woven. All of these things play a role in determining a reasonable price for a fence net. Other factors also affect the size of the prices. For example, a fence net with prices that are lower is likely to be made of thinner wire than a fence net with prices that are higher.

TYPES OF FENCE MESH

Depending on your needs, you can find different types of fence nets that will be useful in certain circumstances. In general, we will divide the types of fence nets into:
- Ordinary woven fence mesh - galvanized or PVC coated;
- Galvanized mesh;
- PVC coated mesh;
- Fence panels – galvanized or PVC coated

WHICH FENCE NETWORKS ARE MOST DEMANDED?

With the clarification that different types of mesh can be placed in different weather conditions, it is easy to understand why there are so many variations on the market. The most preferred options for choosing a fence mesh are the following:
- Electric welded mesh fence
Reinforcing welded mesh fence is the most sought-after and recommended option. It offers greater strength compared to woven mesh fence. The method of execution of reinforcing welded mesh fence allows for the use of a greater thickness of galvanized wire. This type of fence mesh is available in rolls of 20 or 25 meters in length depending on the coating. Standard heights vary from 1 meter to 2.5 meters. The openings can be square and rectangular with dimensions from 5x5 cm to 15x15 cm.
- Woven fence netting
The woven fence mesh, just like the electro-welded one, is available with galvanized wire and PVC coating. When it is made, the threads run vertically, bent in a zig-zag shape, which allows them to connect with those adjacent to them. This results in a mesh with a characteristic rhomboid shape of the holes. This type of fence mesh is definitely a better option for people who need temporary enclosures or have less financial resources. The woven fence mesh is available in rolls of 10 meters, and the height and size of the holes are identical to those of the electro-welded mesh.

HOW IS A MESH FENCE TENSIONED?

Wire mesh fencing is the most commonly used and easiest way to protect personal space, where the fence blends almost imperceptibly into the natural environment and minimally restricts the view. At the same time, mesh fences provide reliable protection against the passage of even small animals, and are also a barrier against the unhindered penetration of unwanted people.
The net is stretched most easily in horizontal sections, and can also tolerate a certain slope. With a greater slope, the fence is divided into stepped horizontal sections. In most cases, only the stakes are concreted firmly into the ground, and the stability of the net is mainly given by tying it to wires that are strongly stretched along the entire length of the fence. They are placed every 50 cm and are most often three in number – one at the top and bottom of the net and one in the middle. In this case, however, some more resourceful and hardworking animals, including the yard dog, if it is of a smaller breed, can easily dig a tunnel and pass under the net. Therefore, it is worth digging and casting a thin 10–15 cm base of concrete along the entire length of the fence, which should protrude 15–20 cm above the ground. Hooks made of thin reinforcing bars are placed in the still fresh concrete, to which the mesh is subsequently attached with wire. This solution also has the advantage that the fence does not touch the soil, thus significantly reducing the risk of corrosion.
The metal posts are concreted in pre-dug holes 50–60 cm deep, leveled vertically and supported with two inclined supports until the concrete has hardened sufficiently. They are placed 2.5–3 m apart. The end corner posts are supported with two inclined supports, which largely absorb the load from the net. For long fences, an intermediate post is placed every 30–40 m, reinforced with supports on both sides.

WHAT TOOLS CAN MAKE THE TASK EASIER?

When making fences, paving paths or casting curbs, a laser level is a very useful tool. With its help, a straight line can be determined very easily, especially accurately and at great distances (up to about 50 m in cloudy weather and 18 m in sunny weather), and surfaces can be leveled, including with a precisely set slope. The supporting wires made of galvanized steel with a diameter of about 2 mm are stretched between the stakes. For this purpose, a special tensioning device with a pin (tensioner) is attached to the stake, onto which the end of the wire is wound with the help of a wrench. The wire is cut about 10 cm longer than the net. The pin resembles a gear ring that stops in the special cutouts of the opening and thus prevents it from being unscrewed and the tensioned wire from loosening.
At the end of the net, a steel rod about 10 mm thick is inserted through its links and the net is stretched and firmly tied to the rings. This achieves uniform tension of the net along its entire height. The net attachment plates and wires are fastened with screws and nuts, and the inclined supports are mounted to the posts in the same way.

SEE SOME TRICKS

Mixing concrete on site is often quite inconvenient, so a more elegant method can be used, in which the concrete foundations for each ring are cast in advance and then transported to the fence site. This is easily done by using an old plastic bucket as a mold, in the bottom of which a Ø40 hole is drilled in the center. A plugged PVC pipe of the same diameter is threaded through it. The end of the pipe should be 5–8 cm from the level of the edge of the bucket. The bucket is placed on two square bricks and filled with concrete mortar. After about 24 hours, it has hardened enough for the concrete cast to be removed. The plastic pipe is also removed by gently turning it to the side. After about two weeks, the foundation is ready for use, although the concrete has not yet reached its maximum strength. Each of the foundations is dug into the soil with the large base at the bottom. The sides are filled with soil, which is well tamped. The ring is cemented in the hole only with a cement-sand mortar, which hardens in a few hours when an accelerator is added.

DECORATIVE MESHES HAVE A PRACTICAL AND AESTHETIC FUNCTION

In addition to the borders, various fences are also placed inside the garden. Most often, they limit separate parts, protect flower beds from jumping over by animals, etc. For this purpose, the most suitable is the use of decorative wire mesh fences. As their name suggests, they combine their practical function as fences with an aesthetic one as decorative accessories.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

With us you will find a wide variety of two types of nets: fence and decorative. We have models of both types of manufacture - knitted and electro-welded, with most of them being of the second type. There are many differences, but one thing is common - the high quality of the BETAFENCE brand. All nets are made of galvanized wire with PVC coating. Variability is mainly in the main characteristics, such as dimensions - length, height, mesh /hole size/, wire thickness. Some of the models have a 10-year, and others - a 20-year company guarantee against corrosion.
In our store you will find more fence doors and panels of the POLBRAM brand.
The prices are in optimal proportion to the quality of the products in this group with us.
