Azure varnishes are widely used in the home and especially in the maintenance of country buildings. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor use and are applied to solid wood products, the goal being not only to preserve the natural beauty of the wood, but also to enhance the aesthetic impact by emphasizing the texture of the wood. Therefore, colorless azure varnishes or colored azure varnishes are offered, which give a similar tinting to a certain type of valuable wood - pine, birch, walnut, mahogany, etc.
In addition to specialized azure varnishes , in this product group you can also find stain varnishes and polyurethane varnishes .

WOOD STAIN VARNISHES - PURPOSE

Lacquers do not just form a thin film on the surface of the wood, but have the ability to penetrate deep into it, thus providing long-term protection against rotting due to high humidity. Some lacquers also provide protection against wood-destroying insects. However, lacquers containing insecticidal additives should not be used for interior use.
Azure varnishes are available in different colors, but it should be borne in mind that the final effect depends on the combination with the natural color of the wood. Therefore, a test painting is mandatory and only after the varnish dries can the achieved aesthetic effect be judged.

TYPES OF WOOD STAIN VARNISHES

Some types of azure varnishes are designated as impregnating, and others as forming a thick-layer coating. The former penetrate deeply, almost do not form a surface layer and are used primarily to protect wood against moisture and its harmful effects. The second group of varnishes is applied as a "second coat" for objects already treated with an impregnating varnish. They contain pigments that protect against the effects of ultraviolet rays. For this reason, colorless azure varnishes are not suitable for exterior painting. Those with a thick-layer coating are particularly suitable for painting doors, window frames and frames.

TOOLS AND METHODS FOR APPLYING AZURE VARNISHES

Before application, the product is stirred well, the surfaces are cleaned of oils, dust, rust and contaminants and sanded with fine sandpaper - you can find such in theSandpaper product category. Paint brushes, paint rollers (which you can find in Paint and varnish tools ) or paint guns are used to apply the varnish. For a more emphasized shine, an additional layer of colorless azure varnish can be applied.
The azure varnishes we offer come in various color shades, at affordable prices, and are produced by proven manufacturers such as DEKORATOR, PRAKTIKA, SADOLIN, CAPAROL, SIKKENS, LACPROM, KLARA, and others.
