If you have damaged areas, gaps, cracks and other irregularities, repair them with wood putty. If there is a crack in the wood, first open it and expand it, because otherwise you will not be able to use enough putty to glue it and it will soon appear again. After drying, lightly sand it with a suitable tool or by hand with sandpaper. If you are using untreated wood, fill the splits and cracks with wood putty of the same color. METHODS OF APPLICATION AND PROCESSING OF WOOD PUTALS
Before application, the surface to be treated must be thoroughly cleaned and dried.
The material is applied using a metal spatula - you can find a suitable one in the Putties product group. It can be diluted with water if necessary.
We also offer wax putty, which is designed for retouching and concealing small and larger defects. Wax and oil coatings for wood combine very well with wax putty.
Wax putty is very flexible, easily comes into contact with wood, waterproof, strong and wear-resistant. It is applied by melting. After rapid cooling, the excess of the applied putty is removed with a scraping knife or spatula.

TIPS FOR APPLYING AND PROCESSING WOOD PUTALS
In order to be as useful as possible for the customer, we will allow ourselves some practical advice on use. First of all, the shade of putty should correspond to the color of the wood as much as possible. It starts with a test. You apply a small amount to the damaged areas and let it dry. Only when it is completely dry can you be sure that there is a complete match with the wood. If you have not happened upon the right color for the wood, you can solve the problem by mixing several colors of wood putty to get a natural "weld" between the shades.
Use a putty knife or putty knife. To spread the material well, the knife must be flexible. However, if the damage to the wood is tiny, these tools will not work for you. The advice may be unconventional, but still try inserting it into the holes with a pencil, toothpick or skewer, for example.
Apply a little more putty. Let it be slightly higher than the level of the treated surface. When it dries, it will shrink and retract. After it dries well, sand the surface with fine sandpaper. All that remains is to enjoy your own work and the saved wood.
