There is no home without a blanket, which we cannot do without in winter. It gives us warmth, comfort and coziness. It also largely determines whether our sleep will be healthy. Therefore, its choice is not unimportant.
First of all, pay attention to the material the blanket is made of. Our suggestions are some of the most popular - cotton and polyester. The debate on the topic of "cotton or polyester" is one that has been going on for decades. It is actually part of the big dilemma of natural sources or artificial fibers. Many people like the way cotton fabrics look and feel to the touch, but they do not like the fact that they shrink and wrinkle easily. Those who like the merits of polyester point out that polyester fabrics are easy to maintain, do not wrinkle and are easy to clean.

TYPES OF FABRICS FOR MAKING A BLANKET

In any case, cotton remains the most common type of fabric. Although it has its drawbacks, cotton can absorb up to 27 times its weight in water, can be boiled and sterilized because it retains its shape at high water temperatures - this makes it an extremely suitable material for household products.
Cotton blankets certainly have their merits: in hot and humid weather, cotton "breathes", drawing sweat from the body and releasing it onto the surface of the blanket. In cold weather, the cotton fibers help maintain body temperature. Cotton blankets can be washed at any temperature, but at higher temperatures the fabric shrinks.
Polyester, on the other hand, is made from synthetic fibers that are durable and retain their shape. For this reason, polyester fabrics do not wrinkle. However, they do not withstand high temperatures. Polyester threads last a long time and do not shrink (unlike natural fabrics). An advantage of polyester is that when dyed, it retains its color (it does not fade like cotton fabrics), but at the same time, stains are difficult to remove. However, the artificial material warms well, is hypoallergenic, does not absorb odors and is breathable.
Cotton/polyester fabrics are very popular these days. When combined properly, the two fabrics produce wonderful results: smooth and soft to the touch fabrics that do not wrinkle, retain their shape after washing, and do not shrink.

CHOOSING A SUITABLE BLANKET

How do we decide which is better? There is no right answer. The factors that determine such a decision are comfort, feel, durability. Ultimately, the decision is also based on our needs and budget.
There is no clear winner in the cotton-polyester debate. As long as you choose a quality product, you've made the right decision! We offer it in a wide variety of sizes, densities, and color schemes of blankets.
The size depends on the size of your bed. The density depends on how much warmth you want to achieve. Blankets with a lower density are lighter and are for milder weather, while those with a higher density are heavier and are for colder days.
Our duvets are mainly of two types according to the material they are made of - cotton in combination with acrylic and 100% polyester. We also offer models whose face fabric is made of microfiber and suede, and the filling - 100% microfiber. This material does not allow the formation or irritation of allergies. It is suitable for those who prefer a warm and at the same time very soft and light duvet.

LIGHTWEIGHT BLANKETS

Blankets are popular enough, but we can't ignore the fact that lightweight versions of duvets have become increasingly popular in recent years.
Advantages:
- They are light. In addition to their physical weight, they are also light on the body. They are easy to store and can be quickly packed away. Their larger volume can be handled with the help of vacuum bags.
- They are hypoallergenic. The composition of the better quality duvets includes anti-allergic treatment of the down or they simply have silicone filling, which is a guarantee of peaceful nights for allergy sufferers.
- A wide variety - summer, winter, combined. From down, feathers, silicone balls or fibers, in all sizes for all mattresses - there are so many that they can satisfy all the requirements you have for them.
Filling:
- The best quality filling remains down. These duvets are the most expensive and for good reason. Down is an excellent conductor of heat that allows the body to breathe, especially if it is combined with an outer fabric made of quality cotton. It is usually one of those, with at least 200 threads per square centimeter, which does not allow the fine feathers to escape.
- Feathers or feathers with down - a compromise option, but also a good choice. Down and feathers are combined to make the price more acceptable.
- Silicone is the most popular filling because of its low cost. It can be in the form of beads or fibers. It is also preferred because of its hypoallergenic properties. It is not such a good conductor, but if the outer fabric is of good quality, this is usually not a big problem.
Outer fabric:
- Natural cotton is the best solution. Air exchange is guaranteed and the body does not get cold.
- A combination of cotton with other materials such as polyester. The lower the percentage of cotton, the lower the quality and the lower the price.
- At the bottom of this ranking is an outer microfiber fabric, which has the lowest permeability.
A quality duvet is an investment. It can last for years if we take good care of it. The right duvet is one of the prerequisites for a comfortable sleep.
In this product range you can also find bedspreads, or also called bedspreads. They differ in the composition of the fabric from which they are made. There are models made of 50% cotton and 50% polyester, 100% microfiber, 100% cotton. The sizes and colors are also different. Only the quality is at one level - high, and in excellent relation to the prices.
