Crystallizing waterproofing Seal 210 Migrating is a one-component solution containing penetrating additives, sealing the concrete and preventing the penetration of water. The mixture can be used for compaction of horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces. Seal-210 Migrating has a wide application, and its most used characteristics are related to the prevention of water penetration into concrete structures. This can be done at the base, with positive or negative pressure. Waterproofing protects:
- various water reservoirs,
- swimming pools,
- bathrooms,
- underground structures,
- drainage and tank systems, etc.
The solution is one-component, which allows it to be easy and convenient to use. This happens after adding water. Its main characteristics and advantages are:
- double action
capillary, by penetrating a chemically active additive, which forms additional crystals, thanks to the mineral compound present in the cement matrix, contributing to insulation against moisture and various liquids,
- barrier, through the formation of a special barrier layer, against the ingress of moisture into the concrete structure, ensuring a high degree of adhesion to different types of substrates, water resistance, vapor permeability, frost resistance.
The consumption rate of the solution depends on the air temperature, the condition of the bases, their roughness, as well as the thickness of the applied layer. The approximate values are close to 2 kg/sq.m.dry matter for one layer. One package of 25 kg. can give about 15. 6 liters of solution.The treated surface must be sound, clean, dust-free, free of traces of oils and other solutions, and not crumble. The greatest effect of the application of the solution is when it is applied on a surface or in a working atmosphere, characterized by temperatures from +5°C to +30°C. The mixing of the dry product Seal 210 Migrating with water is carried out in relation to:
- 25 kg. mixture/from 5. 8 to 6. 2 liters of water.
The mixing itself is done with an electric stirrer, which is placed at a lower speed.Apply the solution with a stiff brush or notched trowel. It is advisable to avoid applying the mixture in strong winds, rain, as well as exposing it to direct sunlight. Freshly applied layers of the solution should be protected from the ingress of rainwater or frost. The crystallizing waterproofing is made in accordance with the Bulgarian and European standards for quality and efficiency.
