PASTA VERDE sealing paste is a gray, high-viscosity substance consisting of paraffinic fatty acid, natural minerals, a large amount of paraffin oils and water. All its ingredients are allowed as food additives, which means that they are harmless to humans. PASTA VERDE sealing paste is placed together with sanitary linen, also known as tow. They seal threaded connections in hot and cold water and steam piping systems under low pressure. The sealing paste is particularly effective at maximum water values in installations of 140°C and 8bar.After application of the mixture, the operating temperature can be adjusted to 45°C without losing the tightness of the piping system. Before applying the paste, the thread of the fitting is cleaned and the tow is placed. After assembling the individual elements of the plumbing system, the installation can be put into operation. Excess paste on the fittings is easily and conveniently removed with a towel or rag. Available in convenient packaging and weighing 0.460 kg.
