Crystallizing waterproofing MonoTop-120 Seal - 25 kg

Sika MonoTop-120 Seal is a one-component crystallizing waterproofing designed to reliably protect concrete surfaces from water penetration. Thanks to special penetrating additives, the material forms crystals that seal the capillaries and pores in the concrete, preventing water permeability and ensuring long-term durability. The product is designed for sealing horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces and is widely used in drinking water tanks, swimming pools, underground structures, sanitary facilities and other facilities exposed to high humidity. With approval for direct contact with drinking water, MonoTop-120 Seal is an excellent choice for safety and high reliability requirements.

The waterproofing is characterized by good adhesion to various substrates, while at the same time being vapor-permeable and frost-resistant. The added surfactants significantly reduce capillary absorption, which increases the water impermeability of the concrete. The product can be applied both manually and mechanically, depending on the scale of the project. The application is usually carried out in two layers, with a third recommended in cases of increased risk of water penetration. The mixing ratio is approximately 5.1-5.6 l of water per 25 kg of dry matter, with consumption varying according to the roughness of the substrate. On average, about 2 kg/m² of dry product is required for one layer at a thickness of 2 to 5 mm. Working time is about 60 minutes at +20°C.
