The variety of paint tools offered by us would satisfy the demand of both professionals and amateurs. There are hundreds of items of paint brushes and rollers in a variety of sizes, shapes and materials from which they are made. Masters know what they need, but amateurs undeservedly underestimate their choice and buy them hastily and thoughtlessly. And this is because everyone knows how to use a brush and a roller, but few know how to choose the right tool and how the dozens of types differ from each other.

With properly selected brushes and rollers, you can achieve an even and long-lasting coating of the desired thickness. Good tools save time and greatly facilitate the application process. Choosing the right tool is specific and depends on the type of coating being applied. The tool is no less important than the material. The optimal distribution and application of the material, respectively the paint, depends on it.
A brush and a roller are indispensable tools for applying paint. Brushes are more suitable for small areas or when painting details, as they ensure precision. You will need a roller if you are painting larger surfaces, because it absorbs more paint in one load.

Unlike a roller with a handle, a brush is a universal tool. It can be used for almost all types of paints. For overall satisfaction with the work, choosing the right model is important. We have the option of choosing different shapes and sizes, and we also recommend choosing the right type of bristle for certain types of paints. We have taken all this into account in our rich nomenclature. We offer universal models for all types of paints, as well as profiled ones - for water-based paint, for blah paint, for azure varnish, for radiators, etc.

TYPES OF PAINT BRUSHES, SHAPE, PURPOSE AND PRACTICAL ADVICE

In this product group, it is logical that the richest offering would be brushes and rollers , as well as the necessary accessories for their use, such as roller rolls or roller handles .

Brushes are produced with 100% natural hair or brushes with mixtures of cleaning fibers, bristles and synthetic fibers . Along with natural, synthetic hairs have also begun to gain popularity. Brushes made from these materials are particularly suitable for working with acrylic and water-based paints, such as glazing products and wood preservatives. Modern synthetic hairs are very durable and resistant and guarantee optimal results when working.

When working with water-based paints, use only brushes with synthetic bristles. Natural bristles absorb water and become loose. With water-based paints, you can use brushes made of both natural and synthetic bristles.

Brush handles can be plastic or wooden. Some users (most often professionals) prefer unvarnished wooden handles, while others, on the contrary, prefer the more shiny plastic ones.

There is also a variety of brushes in terms of their shape. Flat brushes are mainly intended for small amounts of work. They are suitable for applying quick-drying paints. These brushes cover a larger area when applied and, since they are easy to work with, they are becoming increasingly popular. They are suitable for applying nitrocellulose, alcohol, epoxy and, above all, water-soluble paints. A special version of flat brushes are angled brushes with a long and curved handle. These brushes are chosen when painting hard-to-reach places, such as radiators, steam pipes, etc.

Angled brushes are curved at a 45° angle. Brushes with a width of 25 to 76 mm are most commonly sold.

Of all the types of brushes, round ones are the ones that apply the paint the longest with one dip. They create an even trace. They are suitable for slow-drying paints such as beziers , oil and synthetic paints. Brushes with a diameter of 15 to 50 mm are most often used.

The variety of types of rollers and rollers on our site is great regarding their composition. We offer painting tools made of natural wool , artificial fibers , foam , polyacrylic , polyester , microfiber , polyamide , etc.
With us you can make your choice of a badanarka , as well as a semi-badanarka . These brushes are used for applying paint on large surfaces, applying wallpaper glue , cleaning, dusting.

We have round and rectangular models in different sizes, according to your needs. We have 100% natural hair brushes that guarantee perfect quality of work and are particularly appreciated by professionals in the industry.

In this product group, you can also find painting kits , paint trays , paint buckets , paint screens, etc.

When working with a brush, follow a few basic rules:
- Before you start working, rub the brush in your hand. This will remove any loose hairs. Experts advise against using a new brush for the final coat of paint.
- The size of the brush should match the nature of the work - with small brushes, painting larger areas takes a long time, while with large ones it is difficult in spaces with difficult access.
- The choice of brush should match the type of paint to be applied.
- How is the cleaning done? After painting with water-based paint, we can simply rinse the brush with water. If we have used varnish or organic-based paint, we must dip it in koreselin or solvent (which you can find in the Thinners product group), and then rinse it with water. It is hung to dry to prevent the bristles from bending and breaking. It is also possible to place it with the bristles upwards in a container or jar. Do not place the brushes on the bristles, as they can spoil.
- Last but not least, the manufacturer of the brushes is important. The materials used are of particular importance: handle, metal sleeve, natural and synthetic bristles, glue with which the bristles are glued.

TYPES OF PAINT ROLLERS AND THEIR PURPOSE

As with brushes, there is a great variety of rollers. There are differences in models, sizes, materials of manufacture, and purpose.

It is preferable to use rollers for applying paints or glue on large flat surfaces. The tool is rolled evenly back and forth, distributing and smoothing the material on the ceiling or walls. In order to prevent the paint from flowing off the roller or, conversely, to avoid making empty strokes without applying material, attention should be paid to the roller's fleece.

The long-pile roller has a fleece made of synthetic materials. This type of roller is suitable for water-based paints, as the thick fur absorbs the liquid paint well and prevents it from dripping or running.

The foam roller distributes the enamel polish evenly and in a thin layer.
Choose the roller pad according to the type of paint: fleece pad - for liquid paints, foam pad - for pastel paints and enamel varnishes.

According to the manufacturing method, the most common are the so-called sewn rollers - rollers with a polyurethane backing, intended primarily for rough and uneven surfaces. The backing softens the contact between the wall and the plastic roller. The thus softened surface of the roller has a significantly improved covering ability for uneven surfaces, with the textile fibers reaching deep into all the holes and irregularities. Rollers of this type are made by placing the backing on the plastic roller and then sewing a homogeneous piece of textile onto it. This type of roller is very strong and resistant to long working cycles and for this reason is widely used. It can be said that they come closest to the idea of a universal tool with which any painting job can be done and thousands of square meters of area can be painted.

For convenience when working with the roller, a special tray is used, into which the paint is poured. The tray is slightly wider than the roller. The tool is immersed in the tray and with a few back and forth movements in the shallow part of the tray, the excess amount of paint is squeezed out. The telescopic extension greatly facilitates work on ceilings or high walls. When working with it, it is not necessary to use a ladder.

Good to know! You can use one roller with different piles to work with different materials. This saves money on purchasing materials and allows you to carry out the repair according to all the rules.

With us you can also find a paint roller with a tank, which guarantees maximum convenience in its use. As separate items we offer handles and rollers for the rollers. For the convenience of the customer, in the product group we also have sets of the most necessary tools and supplies.

Our catalog also offers a wide selection of paint trays, the use of which has already been discussed, as well as sieves, paint buckets, wire brushes, wallpaper brushes, and construction pencils.
