Caparol Buntsteinputz is a high-quality decorative plaster intended for external and internal application on various surfaces such as facades, columns, window frames, thermal insulation systems, balconies and other architectural elements. It offers excellent mechanical resistance to impacts and scratches, which makes it extremely durable under load and in adverse weather conditions.

The plaster has a high UV resistance, which preserves the brightness and saturation of the color even with prolonged exposure to sunlight. In addition, the material has high elasticity and diffusion capacity, which allows surfaces to breathe and effectively removes moisture, thus protecting the structure from moisture and damage. Caparol Buntsteinputz is easy to apply, ready to use and provides a natural matt finish that contributes to the aesthetic appearance of buildings. This makes it a reliable solution for long-lasting protection and a beautiful appearance of every facade and interior surface.

Application

• External and internal decorative coatings for facades, columns, window frames, balconies, thermal insulation systems, corridors, lobbies and other architectural elements
• Suitable for substrates such as concrete, plasters, plasterboard and other load-bearing surfaces

Substrate preparation

• Surfaces must be clean, dry, load-bearing and free of substances that reduce adhesion
• New plasters are allowed to dry for 3-4 weeks before application
• Porous and absorbent surfaces are primed with CapaSol RapidGrund and then with Caparol Putzgrund
• Concrete surfaces are cleaned mechanically or with a water jet and, if necessary, primed with suitable primers
• Contaminated surfaces and surfaces with mold are cleaned and treated with FungiGrund, then primed

How to use

• The material is ready for use and stirred slightly before application
• The surface is primed with Caparol Putzgrund, which is left to dry completely (approx. 12 hours)
• The plaster is applied evenly to the primed surface with a trowel or roller base
• During drying, the surface must be protected from rain and direct sunlight
• Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C and in adverse weather conditions
