Silicone plaster scratched Deko Professional 1.5mm 25kg + 2.5kg free white

Silicone scratched plaster Deko Professional T8500. Grain size: 1.5 mm. Color: white. Scratched plaster is a decorative protective coating with silicone for walls for interior or exterior use. The product is characterized by excellent weather resistance and strong water-repellent properties. The specially selected dispersions and fractions of pebbles used in the plaster allow for easy application and structuring.
Due to the presence of silicone, the plaster does not absorb water (the surface is hydrophobic). This means that water does not penetrate the coating, but drains away. However, this feature does not limit its vapor permeability, i.e. the ability to release moisture to the outside. It allows the unhindered passage of water vapor from the inside of the building and its evaporation into the surrounding space. After drying, the applied coating has very low water absorption. This quality allows for the non-retention of moisture on the walls as a result of precipitation and the rapid evaporation of surface moisture into the atmosphere.
The plaster has a very high resistance to weathering. This quality makes it a suitable solution for facades in any geographical area. It is also non-combustible.
T8500 Silicone Plaster is also used as a finishing coating when building a DEKOTHERM facade thermal insulation system.

How to work:

1. Preparation of the base:

• The surface on which the product is applied must be sound, dry, cleaned of oils, dust and other contaminants.
• If there is a risk of water penetration to the base, the surface is primed with DEKO professional Nano primer.
• If the base is crumbly and needs to be strengthened and impregnated, DEKO professional Facade primer PS-112 can be used (not applied to thermal insulation systems made of synthetic materials or indoors).
• After this preliminary preparation or directly on a sound and dry base, DEKO Professional Silicone primer for plasters is applied; it is recommended to tint the product in the same tone as the color of the the plaster.

2. Application

• Stir well before application.
• Work at a temperature between 5°C and 25°C.
• The plaster is applied in an even layer using a smooth stainless metal trowel, which is held at an angle of 45° to the base. About 10 - 15 minutes after applying the plaster, the relief structure can be formed with vertical movements down and up, with a plastic trowel. The processing time depends on the absorption of the base and the air temperature.
