Water-based construction primer Deko Professional 1l DEKO PAINTS AND PRIMERS

DEKO professional G8520 is a professional water-based primer concentrate designed for impregnation of various construction substrates before painting or applying decorative coatings. With its deep penetrating ability, the product effectively binds dust, strengthens the substrate and equalizes its absorbency. This significantly reduces paint consumption, improves coverage and maintains the resistance of the final coating to washing and wet rubbing.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, DEKO G8520 is characterized by easy preparation and application, which makes it a convenient choice for professionals and craftsmen.

Application

• Lime-cement plasters
• Gypsumboard
• Aerated concrete
• Walls and ceilings before paint, plaster or wallpaper
• New or old surfaces, during repair or refreshment

Preparation of the base

• New surfaces: Must be completely dry.
• Existing surfaces: Must be cleaned of dust, old paint, mold, moss or algae. If necessary, use a biological contaminants remover.
• The base must be sound, dry and free of crumbling areas.

How to use

• Dilute the primer concentrate in a ratio of 1 part primer: 10 parts water. (If the substrate is poorly absorbent, use up to 1:12)
• Apply 1 even coat with a brush, roller or airless spray gun.
• Work at temperatures above 5°C.
• Wait 2 hours until dry to the touch.
• The surface should be matte after drying. If there are glossy areas, it means that there is unabsorbed primer - dilute further.
• A test application on a small area is recommended before the main treatment.
