Bitumen primer 18l

Bitumen primer is a highly effective primer based on bitumen, dissolved in an organic solvent, intended for professional use in waterproofing works. It is used as a first layer for priming surfaces before laying bitumen waterproofing membranes, tapes and coatings.

The product penetrates deep into the base, strengthens it and creates a strong bond between the concrete (or metal) and the waterproofing material. It combines good coverage, moisture resistance and easy application. It is suitable for use on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.

Application:

• For pre-priming of concrete, screed, metal, sheet metal and other construction surfaces
• Used before laying bitumen waterproofing membranes
• Suitable for foundations, foundations, roofs, terraces and other areas exposed to moisture

Substrate preparation:

• The surface must be dry, clean and free of dust, grease stains or other contaminants
• Do not apply to wet or frozen surfaces
• It is recommended that the substrate be smooth and well dusted for better adhesion

How to use:

• Applied with a brush, roller, spray gun or spray gun
• Drying time depends on the temperature and humidity of the air
• Consumption rate: Metal, sheet metal, smooth surfaces: 0.150-0.200 l/sq. m, concrete, screed: 0.200-0.300 l/sq. m
• Work in ventilated areas, away from open flames
