Capatect ThermoSan NQG is a high-quality, ready-to-use facade plaster based on an innovative hybrid technology with silicone resin and nano-quartz grid. It combines excellent vapor permeability and water repellency with long-term resistance to dirt, weathering and biological attacks from algae and fungi. The product is intended for professional use as a final decorative and protective coating on new or renovated facades, including Capatect thermal insulation systems, rough renders and mineral substrates.

Application

• Capatect multi-layer thermal insulation systems, including Natur+ and OrCa
• Uncoated concrete
• Rough renders of groups PII and PIII according to the German standard DIN 18550-1
• Mineral and silicate coatings that absorb and retain the plaster
• Matt coatings of dispersion paints

Substrate preparation - the substrate must be is:

• No residues of grease, dust, mold, paint or unstable coatings
• Old coatings without load-bearing capacity are completely removed
• In the presence of mold - treatment with Capatox
• Priming with a suitable primer (e.g. Putzgrund) is recommended
• For new mineral plasters, wait for the recommended drying time before application.

Working method

• The plaster is applied with a high-quality steel masonry trowel.
• After application, it is smoothed and spread with a polyurethane plastic or polystyrene board, with the possibility of structuring (horizontal, vertical or circular).
• When applying by spraying, the choice of nozzle must correspond to the size of the particles.
• The working pressure when spraying is between 0.3 and 0.4 MPa (3-4 bar).
• For uniform application and avoidance of overlaps, the work must be carried out by the same worker or a well-coordinated team.
• The product is not suitable for horizontal surfaces with water load.
