The product is a fast-drying, elastic, liquid membrane for waterproofing indoors and outdoors. Ready to use.

Application:

• Mapelastic AquaDefense liquid waterproofing is sky blue. It is a one-component paste that is used for quick waterproofing of balconies, bathrooms, shower cabins, saunas and in humid environments before laying ceramic, stone and mosaic flooring.
• Mapelastic AquaDefense can be applied on concrete, cement and lime-based plasters, gypsum plasterboard, lightweight concrete blocks, waterproof plywood, cement screeds and screeds with special solders on ceramic, mosaic and stone flooring.
• Mapelastic AquaDefense can also be used to form a flexible anti-fracture membrane on cracked substrates reinforced with Mapetex Sel, if necessary, where ceramic tiles or stones are to be laid.

Specifications:

• Drying time of the first layer: 1 hour (on a hygroscopic basis, depending on the temperature)
• Drying time of the second layer: 3 hours
• Waiting time: about 1 hour between each coat, 4 hours before coating
