Gherkins Paris are a fertile variety with small and very tasty fruits. They are suitable for fresh consumption and canning. Marinated with spices, honey, chili or balsamic vinegar, gherkins are an excellent appetizer to any aperitif. The stem is relatively short from 80 to 120 cm. The color of the fruit is intensely green towards the stalk and grayed from the top, with lighter stripes. The Parisian variety has relatively larger seed chambers, but with very good taste. Gherkins require good irrigation with water temperature around the soil. Transplanting plants is not recommended when the soil temperature is below 12°C.
