The seeds germinate in 10-14 days. The optimum temperature during this period is 22°C. Hardening of seedlings is very important. The young plants can be transplanted outside after the end of the spring frosts, which on average in Bulgaria is in the middle to the end of April. As they are susceptible to cold, until then it is good to grow the plants in a controlled environment - on a glazed balcony, in a winter garden or other bright room with positive temperatures. They should not be transplanted when the soil temperature is below 12 °C.
