Description
Soudal Universal Sanitary Silicone is a high-quality one-component sealant based on polysiloxane, which hardens by acid reaction. It is specially designed for sanitary applications where maximum resistance to moisture, mold and mildew is required. The silicone provides a reliable and long-lasting seal, remaining permanently elastic after full hardening. This product is widely used for joining and grouting ceramic materials, glass, faience, enameled surfaces and certain types of metals. Thanks to its excellent adhesion to standard sanitary surfaces, it is a preferred solution for bathrooms, kitchens, toilets and other wet rooms. Resistance to mold and mildew ensures a clean and hygienic appearance of the joints even after prolonged use.
Its application includes filling and sealing joints around sinks, shower trays, toilets, bathtubs and ceramic tiles. It is also suitable for treating joints between walls and floors, as well as for sealing in ventilation systems and facilities exposed to high humidity. It can also be used for temporary glazing. Sanitary silicone is resistant to UV rays, weathering and extreme temperature fluctuations in the range of -60°C to +180°C. To achieve the best results, the treated joints should be between 5 and 30 mm wide and a maximum depth of 5 mm. The recommended working temperature for application is from +5°C to +35°C.
With its reliability, easy application and resistance to adverse conditions, Soudal Universal Sanitary Silicone is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a quality solution for sealing and protecting sanitary and wet rooms. It is practical, easy to use and offers a long-lasting result.
