Sanitärsilikon, transparent 60g

Transparent universal sanitary silicone, characterized by its acid hardening. It has increased resistance to moisture, mold and mildew. It is used for joining and grouting ceramic materials, glass, and some types of metals.

Universal construction silicone has the following characteristics:

• excellent resistance to mold, moisture and mold
• adheres well to standard sanitary surfaces, such as tiles, faience and glass, as well as to concrete, bricks and some metals
• resistant to various external influences and with constant flexibility, after its complete hardening.

The applications of construction silicone are different:
for connecting joints around sinks, shower trays, enameled bathtubs

• for grouting the space between the sinks and the walls, around the toilet seats, as well as near the ceramic bases of the showers
• for the treatment of tiles, in places where the wall and floor meet
• for all types of flexible seals located in wet rooms, such as bathrooms, kitchens, toilets, dryers
• for seals exposed to moisture in ventilation systems and equipment
• for temporary glazing

The basis of universal silicone is polysiloxane. Temperature resistance is from -60°C to +180°C. Prior to installation, the surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. In order to achieve the optimal effect of silicone application, the treated joints should be 5 to 30 mm wide and a maximum depth of 5 mm. The greatest effect of its installation has at operating temperature from +5°C to +35°C. The universal transparent coating is applied with a pneumatic silicone gun. Available in a package of 60 g.
