Sealing thread, thread for sealing pipes Tangit 20m

Tangit Uni-Lock Threaded Pipe Sealant is a general purpose threaded pipe sealer. It is used to seal threaded components (ISO 7-1) - for example Tangit Uni-Lock pipe joints and fittings with a conical/cylindrical thread.

It can be used for water pipes for cold and hot water (up to 130 °C)as well as for gas pipes.

The thread is particularly suitable for threaded joints requiring quick sealing after installation and possible minor adjustments before use.

• Metal Threaded Joints: Maximum Size 4"
• Plastic threaded connections: maximum size 1.5"

Durability:

• Resistant to 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation gases (3rd generation only in gas phase)
• Hot and cold water
• Gas condensates
• Compressed air
• Not suitable for use in systems with pure oxygen and/or oxygen-enriched fluids, chlorine, strong oxidizers and diesel or naphtha fuels
• Not suitable for pipe materials made of Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU)
