In the Chains product group you will find steel bicycle lock chains. And although there is no 100% surefire way to prevent theft, there are various ways to protect yourself.
Bike thieves work quickly to reduce the chances of being caught, so having a reliable lock is very important. Using a reliable lock or even two makes it much more difficult for a bike to be stolen. It takes more effort and time, which is often why thieves give up the attempt for fear of getting caught.
No type of lock offers 100% protection against theft, but more expensive ones are generally better quality. Also, if you use more than one type of lock, theft is less likely, as thieves will need different tools to break them.
Among the most popular anti-theft protections are hardened bicycle lock chains. With us you can find this type in various versions that guarantee good reliability. They are wrapped in a strong silicone material so as not to leave scratches on the bicycle. The chain is locked with a key, and the set includes another key - a spare.

TIPS FOR PREVENTING THEFT

We would also like to give you some general practical advice on protecting your bike. The first rule is to always lock it, even if you only leave it for a minute. Lock it in a public place, ideally somewhere where you can see it or where many people can watch it. Never leave your bike in isolated or poorly lit places. If you are shopping, lock it in front of the store; if you are just taking a break from riding, lock it somewhere close to you where you can see it.
Lock your bike to stable objects that cannot be moved, such as designated parking spaces (bike racks). Always check that the object is stable and immovable.
Whatever lock you use, always place it as close to the bike as possible. Lock the frame and wheels so that the lock is taut, not dangling, and there is no space between the bike and the object it is locked to. This makes it difficult for thieves to get in and out of the way, leaving them little room to maneuver. Make sure the lock faces down so thieves can’t fill it with corrosive liquid or glue. This is to prevent you from moving your bike, forcing you to leave it in the same place overnight when it’s easier to steal it.
