Primer for metal alkyd Oxide red 3kg PRACTICE

Praktika alkyd primer is designed for reliable protection and preparation of black metal surfaces before applying a final coating. Formulated on the basis of high-quality alkyd resin, this primer provides strong adhesion, long-lasting corrosion protection and excellent resistance to weathering.

It is suitable for both professional and home projects, and is widely used in industry, construction and maintenance of metal structures. Thanks to its good flowability, easy application and universal colors (gray and oxide red), the product is ideal for priming machines, fences, metal doors, railings and other decorative or functional elements.

After drying, light sanding and dusting are recommended before final painting with enamel or alkyd paint. The primer is ready to use and is applied with a brush, roller or gun.

Substrate preparation

• The surface must be: well cleaned of dust, oils, rust and degreased
• If necessary: sanding, dedusting
• Application on damp surfaces is not recommended surfaces

How to use

• Stir well before use
• Applied with: brush, roller, paint gun
• One or two layers depending on the condition of the surface
• Interval between layers: about 12 hours, after the first one has completely dried
• After drying: sand lightly with sandpaper, remove dust, proceed to the final coating (varnish or paint)
