Description
This sophisticated Paperblanks textile bag is inspired by the rich symbolism and decorative aesthetics of the Japanese Rinpa school, represented through the work of artist Watanabe Shiko (1683-1755). The design impresses with intricate details of spring-summer flowers, filled with subtle gold accents, which add depth, shine and a romantic touch to the entire composition.
The motif recreates part of a decorative screen adorned with various types of flowers, selected according to the ancient Japanese language of flowers - hanakotoba. In this tradition, each flower carries a message and emotion, turning the image into a silent but expressive form of communication. The original work is kept at the Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology at the University of Oxford, further highlighting the cultural and artistic value of the design.
In addition to its visual impact, the bag is also a practical everyday accessory. Made of quality textiles, it features an internal zip pocket for secure storage of personal belongings and a branded Paperblanks label, which guarantees authenticity and attention to detail.
