The SEGWAY NAVIMOW X350 robotic lawnmower works without a boundary wire, using the help of wireless satellites and 3D camera navigation. It is equipped with a 3D front camera (ToF) and two RGB side camera sensors. This revolutionary camera technology measures the distance to the object with each recorded pixel. The Segway Navimow X350 uses the most important GNSS satellite networks for navigation. To ensure optimal reception, it uses four different satellite systems, including GPS, Galileo, Beidou and Glonass. The intelligent lawnmower robot is equipped with EFLS 3.0. This advanced technology uses not only the device's GPS receiver, but also an additional RTK | GPS antenna on the charging station. The charging station antenna receives the EFLS 3.0 (RTK) satellite signal and acts as an additional reference point for more accurate location determination. VSLAM and VIO technology offer unparalleled stability and accuracy. Even in environments with weak signals, the mower continues to function perfectly.
In addition, the device records movement data using the IMU device and collects information about gyroscope, acceleration, rotational speeds, compass and angular movements. The mower is also controlled via a smartphone app, which allows you to easily set the mowing zones. The virtual limitation of the mowing area is carried out by manually turning off or automatically turning off the edges. You can easily add a new map via the app by guiding the robot from the charging station to the area to be mowed, navigating along the edges or avoiding them with assisted mapping.
The Segway Navimow X350 robotic lawnmower can mow the edges of the terrain and go around the mowing area. The surface is then mowed in parallel strips. The angle of the tracks is set randomly in the standard setting, which ensures the best mowing result.
