Description

WEBER brand apple wood smoking pieces. Wood smoking pieces are best suited for slow-and-low cooking/smoking. Quality pieces are made from hardwood. They ignite quickly and burn slowly, adding an extra appetizing touch to the food.
WEBER wood smoking pieces add a delicate touch of sweet apple to the chicken you cook on the barbecue. Experiment with different pieces and wood chips and make smoking even more delicious.

  • For chicken and pork, as well as fish, vegetables and cheeses

How to use:

  • Light the charcoal/briquettes for 20 minutes until they are covered with a thin gray layer of ash.
  • Place a few pieces for smoking on top.
  • Close the lid of the the barbecue/smoker.
  • Wait at least 15 minutes for the barbecue to heat up and the pieces to start smoking.
  • Place the meat on the grill, close the lid, and reduce the oxygen flow using the air controls on the bottom and top of the barbecue.

Note: Do not soak the wood smoking pieces in water before use.
