DEKO floor Primer BRD hardener (Component B) is the second vital element for the successful application of the epoxy primer. It is a chemical agent that, when mixed with the resin (Component A), starts an irreversible polymerization process. Thanks to its formula, the hardener ensures that the system will achieve full adhesion strength and mechanical resistance within 24 hours, transforming the liquid mixture into a monolithic protective layer.

This component is precisely dosed in a 5 kg package to meet the mixing requirements with 15 kg of base, maintaining the exact weight ratio of 3:1. The hardener provides a stable working time of the mixture, which varies from 15 to 40 minutes depending on the ambient temperature. The use of the original BRD hardener is the only way to ensure that the floor covering will withstand pedestrian and light traffic within the specified time frames.

Method of use:

1. Proportion: Always use a weight ratio of Component A : Component B = 3 : 1
2. Mixing: Pour the entire 5 kg (Component B) into the 15 kg (Component A) bucket.
3. Processing: Mix with an electric mixer on low speed for 2-3 minutes. Do not overmix to avoid introducing excess air into the mixture.
4. Specifics: If you are adding quartz sand to screeds, do so after mixing A and B and mix for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Working time: Please note that at +30°C the working time of the mixture is reduced to 15 minutes.
6. Cleaning: Clean tools immediately after use with DEKO floor Thinner; hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
