The UW profile is used in the construction of horizontal partition walls. The UW profile provides a 2 dB higher sound insulation index. It is distinguished by special hardening for specific acoustic conditions, increased hardness and self-centering of the screws. It provides a better connection of the CW profile extensions when a CW/UW connection is required.
