Nano-silicone paint 15l ST 49 Transparent base CERESIT

CERESIT CT 49 Silix XD® is a highly effective nanosilicone paint for facades and interiors, developed using innovative technology with modified silicone and polysiloxane resins. It is designed for long-lasting protection and exceptional resistance to weathering, UV rays and dirt. It has a self-cleaning effect, high vapor permeability and prevents the development of mold, fungi and algae. Thanks to Silix XD® technology, the coating remains clean and durable, even in highly polluted urban environments.

Application

• Suitable for facades and interior walls of new or renovated buildings
• For protection and decoration of mineral plasters, concrete, cement, silicone, silicate and acrylic coatings
• Ideal for use in energy-saving thermal insulation systems

Substrate preparation

• Surfaces must be clean, dry and load-bearing, free of dust, grease, mold, old weak coatings or adhesives
• If there are irregularities or cracks, they must be fill with a suitable filler material
• Absorbent or friable surfaces are primed in advance with a suitable primer from the CERESIT system
• After washing with water, the base must dry completely

Working method

• Stir the paint with a slow-speed electric stirrer for at least 2 minutes
• Apply with a brush, roller or airless spray gun in one or two layers
• Minimum interval between layers: 12-24 hours, depending on the conditions
• Work at a temperature of +5°C to +25°C and a relative humidity below 80%
• Do not use on glass, metal or stone surfaces - permanent staining is possible

• Consumption: Approximately 0.2 - 0.3 l/sq. m depending on the base and conditions
• Finish: Matte coating with high vapor permeability and hydrophobic effect
• Durability: Excellent resistance to UV, atmospheric pollutants and frost
• Drying: Surface drying - about 4-6 hours, complete drying - up to 24 hours
