Aphid preparation 25 ml Afitek EC

Aphid control product Afitek EC from the BUGAWAY brand. The product is an emulsion concentrate that effectively removes aphids, spider mites, eriophyid mites, scale insects, leaf fleas and whiteflies. Reduces thrips populations.

Product for blocking and mechanical removal of a wide range of leaf-eating insects and mites on the following crops: fruit trees, berries (including vineyards), vegetables, ornamentals and cereals.

Afitek EC is considered a safer alternative to conventional chemical plant protection products against insects and mites. It has a purely physical action, based on the 3D-IPNS technology (three-dimensional, immobilizing, polymer, network structure), developed by ICB Pharma. After spraying, the product creates a specific structure - a thin, sticky film on the bodies of insects. It instantly immobilizes them, blocking their physical body functions and quickly removes them from plants.
Afitek EC does not contain any conventional, chemical pesticide. Due to its specific, purely physical mode of action, the preparation does not create conditions for the selection of resistant specimens, even with repeated use. It can be used in pesticide resistance management programs, as well as for the removal of pest populations that have already developed resistance to conventional insecticides and acaricides.

Afitek EC does not contain active substances, has no quarantine period and does not leave residual quantities in the product.

Application for:

• Fruit trees and berry crops (including vineyards) - removal of aphids (including blood louse on apples), spider mites, eriophyid mites (including blackcurrant bud mite), leaf fleas, scale insects:

Recommended concentration: 0.12%-0.15% (12-15 ml of the product are dissolved in 10 l of water).
Recommended consumption rate: 50-80 l of ready-made solution per hectare.
Note: Apples (when fruit is formed) and pears should only be sprayed when the weather allows for rapid drying of the solution (during the day or in the evening). Do not treat crops in the flowering phase, as there is a risk of damage to the petals. Drizzle or light rain 8-10 hours after spraying or slow drying of the solution may increase the risk of phytotoxicity, especially on pear leaves and apple fruits. The product should not be applied to pigeon pea.

• Vegetable crops - removal of aphids, spider mites, scale insects and whiteflies. Reduction of thrips populations.

Recommended concentration: 0.01% - 0.15% (10-15 ml of the product is dissolved in 10 l of water).
Cucumbers: 0.1% (10 ml of the product is dissolved in 10 l of water).
Tomatoes, peppers, eggplants: 0.05% - 0.07% (5-7 ml of the product is dissolved in 10 l of water).
The consumption rate of the finished solution depends on the size of the plants. They must be sprayed completely.
Note: Do not apply to lettuce and herbs. To reduce the risk of leaf burn on sensitive crops, Afitek EC should be used under conditions that allow the solution to dry quickly (during dry weather during the day or in the evening).

• Ornamental crops - removal of aphids, spider mites, scale insects and whiteflies. Reduction of thrips population.

Recommended concentration: 0.1%-0.15% (10-15 ml of the product is dissolved in 10 l of water).
Roses: 0.1% (10 ml of the product is dissolved in 10 l of water).
Other ornamental crops: 0.05% (5 ml of the product is dissolved in 10 l of water).

Note: To reduce the risk of leaf burn on sensitive crops, Afitek EC should be used under conditions that allow the solution to dry quickly (in dry weather, during the day or in the evening). To exclude the possibility of phytotoxicity, test a few plants before treating the entire crop. Do not spray crops in the flowering phase, as there is a risk of damage to the petals.

• Cereal crops - removal of aphids.

Recommended concentration: 0.15% (15 ml of the product is dissolved in 10 l of water).
Recommended consumption rate: 20 l of ready solution / hectare.
Afitek EC effectively eliminates the red fruit mite if applied in early spring. The treatment should be carried out at the moment of hatching of the larvae from the overwintered eggs; in apple trees - in the green to pink bud phase; in plum trees - in the green bud phase.

Composition: Mixture of polymers, mainly silicones and siloxanes. All ingredients comply with the requirements of EU Regulation No. 1907/2006.

Storage: At a temperature of 0 to 35 degrees. Protect from moisture.

IMPORTANT: Use Afitek EC when pests have multiplied to the extent that they pose a significant threat to the plant. If necessary, repeat the treatment after 5, 7 or more days. For maximum effect, the plants should be sprayed completely, covering all places where pests feed (on both sides of the leaves). Afitek EC works only in direct contact with insects feeding on the plants (it has only a contact effect). It has no preventive or protective effect. Do not exceed the recommended consumption rate and the recommended concentration!

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid breathing fumes/fumes/aerosols.
• Avoid release to the environment.
• Use protective gloves/safety glasses.
• IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
• Dispose of contents/container in accordance with national regulations.
