Oak wine barrel 5l

The oak barrel of VANKOV 2004 is a suitable container for storage and aging of brandy and wine. The barrel is not lacquered, and a wooden cinnamon and stand are also available. It can be used for aging brandy and as a new it gives a bolder aroma and color than the old barrels.

Usage:

• In order to use the liquid storage barrel, it must first be soaked in water for at least a week. In the beginning it leaks water because the wood used to make it has dried for 2 years. The water is changed every day for best results.

Provided that the barrel will store brandy or wine for a long time, it absorbs moisture from the stored liquid and the amount of liquid decreases. The rate of moisture uptake depends on where the liquid barrel is stored - if stored in a cellar or basement, the liquid will drop more slowly.
