Adhesive-putty mixture Mapetherm AR 3, 25 kg

Mapetherm AR3 from MAPEI is a one-component cement mortar for gluing and plastering of thermal insulation panels and systems of EPS, XPS and mineral wool.

MAPEI's Mapetherm AR3 adhesive-putty mixture is used for gluing polystyrene foam insulation boards on walls or directly on plaster on ceilings, bricks or concrete, it can also be used for gluing other types of panels such as foam/extruded polystyrene. The product is also suitable for gluing thermal insulation boards and external insulation systems on cement-based screeds or lime mortar, concrete and concrete blocks.

Mapetherm AR3 is also used for gluing systems for: insulation of niches for radiators, insulation of attic space, insulation of double floors, insulation on the inside of rooms above ground, insulation on the inside of retaining walls in basements, insulation on the inside of attic space, insulation from the outside of ventilated facades.

Consumption rate:

• For spot gluing of boards: 2-4 kg/sq.m.
• Bonding of insulation boards with an even layer on the back of the board with a notched trowel number 10: 4-6 kg/sq.m.
