Highly vapor-tight membrane with an aluminized layer that reflects heat back into the usable under-roof space and thus saves heating energy. It does not allow the penetration of water vapor from inside the building into the thermal insulation.

In the structure of unventilated pitched roof by placing a vapor-tight layer on the inner (warm) side of the insulation in combination with vapor-permeable-waterproof membrane on the outer (cold) side prevents moisture and condensation in the insulation and ensures full functionality of LDS the system.
