FKD-N Thermal stone wool is a high-quality thermal and sound insulation board with a double-layer density that provides exceptional energy efficiency and reliable fire protection for residential and public buildings. The material is non-combustible and classified in the highest fire reaction class A1, which makes it completely safe at high temperatures and fire. With a low thermal conductivity coefficient λD = 0.034 W/mK, the boards guarantee excellent thermal protection and effectively reduce energy costs for heating and cooling.

Thanks to its fibrous structure, stone wool also provides superior sound insulation, creating a quieter and more comfortable living environment. The product is water-repellent, resistant to aging and retains its dimensions even with large temperature fluctuations. It is also chemically neutral and highly vapor-permeable, which prevents moisture accumulation and mold formation.

FKD-N Thermal is completely resistant to chemicals, microorganisms, birds and rodents, which extends the life of the facade system.
