Description
CAPAROL's Seiden Latex interior coating is characterized by a satin effect. The paint retains its structure, withstands heavy loads and wet rubbing. It is particularly suitable for surfaces subject to excessive dirt such as schools, hospitals, playrooms, public buildings, halls, offices, hotels, restaurants, staircases, etc., as the coating is wear-resistant and easy to clean. It is also particularly suitable for coating embossed wallpapers containing wood, corrugated wallpapers, as well as fiberglass wallpapers, as it emphasizes their texture with a silky gloss.
Seiden Latex can be diluted with water, is environmentally friendly and has a very light odor. It has a high degree of whiteness and is resistant to water-based disinfectants and cleaning agents. Apply with a paint brush, roller or sprayer.
Additional characteristics:
- Wet abrasion resistance: Class 2, in accordance with German standard DIN 53 778
- Covering class: Class 2 at 7 m2/l or 140 m2/l.
- Maximum particle size: Fine 100 µm
- Density: approximately 1.3 g/cm3.
The substrates must be sound, dry, clean and free of substances that could prevent good adhesion. Hard plasters with normal absorption can be painted without prior priming. Apply a saturated and even coat of Seiden Latex paint, undiluted or diluted with max. 5% water. On contrastingly colored surfaces, apply a primer coat or diluted paint diluted with max. 10% water. On surfaces with uneven absorption, apply a primer coat. On highly porous, sandy plasters, apply a primer coat.
The exact consumption is determined by samples. About 130 ml/m2. The consumption increases on rough surfaces. At +20ºC and 65% relative humidity, Seiden Latex dries on the surface and can be painted over after 4-6 hours. It dries in depth and can be subjected to load after about 3 days. At lower temperatures and high humidity, the drying time is extended.
