Описание

SIKA's Latex Emulsion contact primer is a water-soluble, synthetic emulsion for adhesion to mortars and plasters. Sika Latex is a contact primer for bonding between old and new concrete. The emulsion is a universal means of providing adhesion to mortars or plasters.

It is most often used for:

  • for mortar for compensating screeds and for quick repairs, which are applied in the thinnest layers
  • for making floor screeds with increased dust-freeness, elasticity and resistance to cracking
  • as a bonding agent for the first application of plasters with SIKA-1 or insulating plasters Sikalite
  • to create a connecting bridge between concrete and plaster, in particular facade plaster
  • to improve the adhesion, elasticity and resistance to cracking of plaster solutions
  • as adhesion bridges when connecting old and new concrete
  • for mortar substrates as a bonding layer and barrier in concrete work, eg between floor slab and wall
  • for water and wear-resistant coatings in water construction, drainage channels, treatment plants, etc.
  • for smooth screeds for smoothing the surface in tanks, concrete channels, etc.
  • for grouting masonry
  • to improve the adhesion between plaster and insulation boards
  • as an adhesive solution for strengthening ceramic tiles, natural rock materials, artificial stone for interior construction, as well as for covering insulation and - lightweight building boards of styrofoam, cork, wood particles, etc.
  • as an additive to improve the adhesion and resistance of lime and cement colored plasters
  • for injection and hot repair of larger cracks at low static load
  • for the production of cement mortar with increased resistance to chemicals

SikaLatex Emulsion is characterized by greatly increased adhesion strength and significantly improved tensile strength. The product is not corrosive and has increased elasticity and good compressive strength. The emulsion is waterproof and has reduced water permeability.

SikaLatex emulsion is pre-mixed with water and only then added to the cement-sand mixture, with a minimum mixing time of 90 seconds.

Dosage:

bonding primers "connecting bridge"

  • liquid for preparation: 1 volume part SikaLatex emulsion + one volume part water
  • sludge "connecting bridge": 1 volume part cement + 1 volume part sand + preparation liquid are mixed to a slurry consistency
  • consumption: about 250 g of Sika Latex emulsion per liter of ready sludge = about 2 sq. m.

concrete coatings and floors

  • dosage is usually 40-60 kg/m3.ready solution (with cement content of 400-500 kg/m3)

filling mortar for leveling/quick repair

  • liquid for preparation: 1 volume part SikaLatex emulsion + 1 to 2 volume parts water
  • solution: 1 volume part cement + 3 to 5 volume parts sand + preparation liquid mix well to the desired consistency

screed backing solution

  • dosage is usually 30-60 kg per cubic meter.ready mixture
