Beetroot, also called "vitamin bomb", is not only useful and dietary, but also extremely tasty when spicy. It is suitable for fresh consumption and canning. Roots and leaves are used for food. The Detroit variety is a biennial plant (the main root is formed in the first year, the flower stalk is formed in the second year). Forms globular, medium-sized roots with dark red fleshy part. Its fruits are healthy, smooth and with many nutritional qualities. Lettuce should be sown in two or three rows at a distance of 50 cm between strips and 25 cm between rows. The depth of sowing the seeds is on average about 3 cm.
