Verbena Seeds Botanist

Verbena is an annual plant. Blooms in purple, white, pink, peach or red. It is very popular for growing in hanging pots, in rock gardens or in boxes on the windowsill. The seeds are sown in early spring. The plants should be air-conditioned for a few hours outside before being permanently taken out in the garden or on the balcony. When attached, pinch the middle stem of each plant to begin growing like a shrub.
