Bitumen waterproofing FC-ro Venus 4mm GENERAL MEMBRANE

The VENUS FC 4 mm ultra-elastomeric bitumen waterproofing membrane is a high-class engineering material developed for areas subject to serious structural loads, settlements and harsh climatic conditions. Thanks to the increased amount of premium SBS modified bitumen, this 4 mm membrane forms an extremely dense and monolithic waterproof shield. It outperforms standard 3 mm coatings with much higher resistance to perforation (puncture by tools, stepping or sharp objects) during construction activities.

The core of the material is made of reinforced non-woven polyester with high density. This provides the membrane with enormous tensile strength and perfect isotropic behavior (equal stress distribution in all directions). The finish of fine quartz sand provides a clean and stable surface. The 4 mm model is specially optimized for heavy underground construction, where the insulation is subjected to constant hydrostatic pressure from groundwater, as well as for the first layer in responsible two-layer roofing systems with a long service life (over 20 years).
