Description
Sikafibers PPM-12 polypropylene fibers are a highly effective additive for concrete and mortars, designed to improve their durability and resistance. The product is available in bulk form and is ready for direct use, added during mixing. The fibers are packaged in self-dissolving ecological bags, which facilitates the dosing process and eliminates the risk of spillage. When added to concrete mixtures, these polypropylene fibers significantly reduce the risk of cracking caused by plastic shrinkage and shrinkage. This makes them an ideal choice for pavements, slabs, tracks and other structures exposed to dynamic loads and temperature changes. Additionally, the fibers increase the cohesion of the mixture, facilitating its application on inclined or vertical surfaces.
Sikafibers PPM-12 are widely used not only in traditional concrete, but also in various construction mixtures such as screeds, plasters and putties. They are also suitable for application in sprayed mortars or for the production of ready-made concrete elements. Due to the uniform distribution of the fibers in the mixture, the overall resistance of the final product is increased. Fibers are particularly valued for their ability to increase the impact resistance and water tightness of concrete. They reduce the risk of plastic deformations, warping of the edges of slabs and destruction at high temperatures. This leads to a significant extension of the service life of the structures and higher reliability during operation.
